BTSE Earn

The BTSE Earn is an easy way to earn passive income on crypto assets. It offers up to 9% APY on USD-denominated stablecoins such as USDT and USDC, 4% APY on Bitcoin, and up to 26% APY on altcoins. These rates can go higher and vary depending on market conditions.

How does BTSE Earn work? BTSE Earn comprises four offerings: fixed savings, flexible savings, lending, and staking.

For fixed savings, interest is paid out after the savings lock-up period expires. Early redemption results in the loss of accrued interest. Flexible savings allow you to redeem your savings anytime without losing interest; however, it offers a lower return than fixed savings.

Lending involves lending your assets to BTSE’s capital pool for guaranteed interest based on the asset you choose to lend. Like fixed deposits, interest pay-out is lost on early redemption.

BTSE saves you the hassle of staking directly on blockchains. By staking your crypto with BTSE exchange, you help secure the underlying network and earn interest in return.

Trading BTSE futures

BTSE offers over 50 futures contracts with up to 100x leverage. The products also incorporate bots, which you can customize or copy to make trades under pre-determined conditions.

Futures trading allows traders to bet on the future price of a cryptocurrency. It enables traders to speculate on future price movements of a cryptocurrency without actually owning it. A trader can enter a futures buy contract when they expect the price to increase and profit when it does. Conversely, they can enter a futures sell contract when they anticipate the price to drop and profit when it does.

Traders with the BTSE app can enable margin call notifications whenever they are close to being liquidated—this range could be as high as 25% and as low as 15%.

BTSE fees explained

BTSE trading fees are tiered in VIP levels and are designed to reward higher-volume traders.

The tiers are assigned depending on the 30-day trading volume. The higher the trading volume, the higher the VIP level, and the higher the fee discount.

Futures trading fees are generally less than spot trading fees as outlined in the following tables.

How safe is BTSE?

Over 90% of customer assets are stored in cold wallets to keep customer funds safe. This means the funds are stored offline, immune to online exploits by bad actors. The exchange also states that they have a multi-million dollar insurance fund to compensate users in the event of a hack.

BTSE is a full package. Instead of relying on third-party infrastructure, it uses its own team and, through BTSE enterprise solutions, offers the technology and infrastructure services to other BTSE clients. The in-house team allows the team tighter control over security and minimizes external risks.

Moreover, BTSE demands that users set up two-factor authentication (2FA) and Know Your Customer (KYC) verification. 2FA provides verification and approval codes for critical account actions like log-ins and withdrawals. By verifying each user’s identity, KYC Verification helps prevent fraud and money laundering.

BTSE referral and VIP program

BTSE offers one of the most rewarding referral programs among other crypto exchanges, offering a 25% commission on trading fees incurred by their referrals. With zero caps on profits and no tiered reward system, the rewards are paid out daily. The more your friends trade, the more you earn. To date, the program has paid out over $28 million.

You can participate in the referral program in three simple steps:

  • Log in to your account, navigate to the ‘Referral Program’ page, and obtain your referral link, which is displayed at the top.
  • Invite friends to sign up on the exchange through your referral link.
  • Earn 25% of trading fees incurred by the referred friends.

BTSE has incorporated a tiered VIP program to reward loyalty based on the total volume of trades made in the last 30 days. Benefits include discounted fees, a dedicated VIP manager, premium gifts and rewards, increased API rate limits, and business-class trips to crypto events. VIP 1 traders, for instance, pay 0.15% maker fees, while VIP 10 traders pay 0.005%.
