Shiba Inu Marketing Expert Warns of Scammers Exploiting TREAT Token

Shiba Inu marketing lead Lucie has issued a warning on X about scammers targeting the SHIB community. She highlighted that these scammers are exploiting the hype around the TREAT token, which has not yet been released. Regarding the scheme, Lucie said these fraudsters are using the official hashtag #TreatYourself. This harmful interference inadvertently works in favour of the SHIB and the Shibarium universe since it increases the exposure of the hashtag on social media.

Lucie stressed, however, that the actual TREAT token has not been launched as of this writing. She specifically encouraged the users not to fall for these scams and to stay on the lookout for one. Regarding new releases and information, Lucie said those interested should follow Shytoshi Kusama and Kaal Dhairya, the prominent members of the SHIB squad.

Shiba Inu Ecosystem’s Growth and Achievements

Several days ago, Lucie briefly summed up the historical timeline of the SHIB ecosystem in a Twitter post. She pointed out that previously, SHIB was considered a meme coin but is now one of the giant Web 3. 0 communities. With over 1.4 million wallets holding SHIB, the token is now the second largest meme coin in market capitalization, coming only second to DOGE.

Lucie also mentioned that Bitcoin and SHIB were coins created by unknown persons, such as Satoshi Nakamoto and Ryoshi. Thus, over two years, SHIB showed quite good results and experienced a sharp increase in price during the previous bull cycle. The current active group is working on the SHIB Metaverse, which has yet to be launched; however, the teaser is enough to bring so much joy to the community.

SHIB now boasts an in-house decentralized exchange by the ShibaSwap, a mobile game dubbed Shiba Eternity, and the Layer-2 solution known as Shibarium. Besides that, there is work on Layer 3 being focused on, which indicates the constant growth of the SHIB project.
