SkyBridge’s Anthony Scaramucci Backs Trump’s Bitcoin Policies But Urges Caution
Anthony Scaramucci, a prominent financier and the founder of SkyBridge Capital, recently expressed support for Bitcoin policies showcased by Donald Trump during his keynote address at the 2024 Bitcoin Conference in Nashville.
However, Scaramucci also acknowledged potential risks associated with Trump’s overall approach.
“I agree with every single thing that [President] Trump said related to Bitcoin. Moreover, I praised him from the stage yesterday on forcing the issue and bringing Bitcoin into the center, and I am hopeful that Bitcoin will be bipartisan,” Scaramucci said in a statement.

“But I am not a single voter, and I understand the danger that he represents.”
The remarks aren’t Scaramucci’s first concerns about Trump’s approach despite agreeing with him on crypto issues.
The ex-White House official who briefly served under Trump’s administration has advocated for bipartisan support in the crypto sector as he believes both parties should cooperate to create a regulatory framework that supports innovation while ensuring consumer protection.
In an interview with Bloomberg following President Biden’s withdrawal from the 2024 US presidential race, Scaramucci said he believed Kamala Harris, who has been endorsed by President Biden as his successor, could have a positive influence on the Democratic Party’s approach to crypto.
“We have to give her some time to get her policies. I think it will be a dramatic new generation reset for the Democrats,” said the CEO of SkyBridge Capital.
A recent report from Financial Times revealed that Harris’ presidential campaign team reached out to major firms, including Coinbase, Circle, and Ripple Labs, in a bid to strengthen ties with the crypto sector, which has faced challenges under the Biden administration’s regulatory approach.
