Crypto Price Update July 24: BTC Maintains $66K, ETH at $3.4K, XRP, TON, and ADA Rallies
The global crypto prices today have exhibited fluctuating movements as volatility rises. A glance at the crypto heat map shows a mixture of green and red trading in the last 24 hours. Some major news have contributed to the fluctuations observed within this time. One such is the recent Mt. Gox transfer of about $2.8 billion BTC to external wallets, signifying creditors’ repayment continuation.
Meanwhile, the sentiment surrounding the market, measured by the crypto fear and greed index, has slipped by one point over the last day, dropping to 69 from yesterday’s 70. However, this is still a healthy mark as it illustrates ‘greed.’ Bitcoin dropped as low as $65k within the last day, and ETH has dropped back to the $3.4k mark. Also, the total crypto market cap lost about 0.41%, now resting at $2.42 trillion.

The news of the Mt. Gox creditors’ repayments has influenced Bitcoin’s price trajectory. Earlier today, Kraken, one of the partnered exchanges for funds redistribution, announced that it has completed the repayment to Mt. Gox creditors. Following the news, the price of BTC slipped below $66k. However, at press time, the coin is $66,258, signaling a 0.76% decline. Interestingly, Bitcoin ETF’s total daily net inflow as of July 23 reached $77.97 million according to Soso Value data.
After the launch of the Ethereum ETF in the United States, the price of ETH has failed to gain much-expected momentum. ETH has traded in red over the last day. Within this time, the price of ETH has seen a 1.42% decrease in value to $3,460. Ethereum has touched the lows and highs of $3,403.72 and $3,534 respectively.
Other Altcoin Prices
The price of Solana has seen a 0.45% decline to $177.22. Additionally, SOL had its bottoms and tops of $$171.29 and $178.22 respectively. In the weekly chart, Solana has had an impressive trajectory, gaining a significant 9.06% in value.
Ripple-backed XRP token has regained 1.80% of its value, jumping to $0.612. Interestingly, XRP has traded between $0.5862 and $0.6086 in one day.
Meanwhile, Binance Coin (BNB) has increased by 0.28% to $587, maintaining a bottom and top range of $578.25 and $589.42 respectively. However, Toncoin (TON) has reversed its downtrend, spiking by 0.69% to $6.97. Its one-day lows and highs were $6.81 and $6.98.
In the memecoin front, Dogecoin (DOGE) and Shiba Inu (SHIB) have decreased in the last 24 hours. While DOGE saw a notable 2.18% loss, SHIB recorded a decline of 1.47%. Consequently, DOGE and SHIB are now trading at $0.133 and $0.00001725 respectively.
