However, Bitcoin (BTC) and other blockchain networks remained unaffected despite the widespread outage, prompting a response from Senator Cynthia Lummis.
Lummis, the junior United States senator from Wyoming since 2021, is also known as the “crypto queen” for introducing the bipartisan “Responsible Financial Innovation Act” to regulate the digital asset sector and is a strong advocate for Bitcoin (BTC).
