On Friday, computers using Microsoft operating systems worldwide faced their worst nightmare as the ‘Blue Screen of Death’ (BSOD) appeared on numerous systems, disrupting major services like the London Stock Exchange, airlines, media companies, and banks. However, Bitcoin (BTC) and other blockchain networks remained unaffected despite the widespread outage, prompting a response from Senator Cynthia Lummis.

Lummis, the junior United States senator from Wyoming since 2021, is also known as the “crypto queen” for introducing the bipartisan “Responsible Financial Innovation Act” to regulate the digital asset sector and is a strong advocate for Bitcoin (BTC).
