Nairobi (CoinChapter.com) — Telegram’s viral tap-to-earn game Hamster Kombat has introduced a new “Fight fight fight” card, which references the failed assassination attempt on Donald Trump. The card depicts cartoon hamsters reenacting Trump’s bloodied, fist-pumping moment, captured during his Philadelphia rally.
The game has reportedly attracted over 250 million players, eager for the upcoming token launch. On July 17, Hamster Kombat included a reference to the failed assassination attempt against Trump.
Trump Embraces Crypto Amid Game’s Rise
The card coincides with Trump’s growing involvement in the cryptocurrency community. His campaign now accepts crypto donations, and he has voiced support for Bitcoin miners in America. Additionally, the Republican Party has included cryptocurrency in its draft platform.
The new “Fight fight fight” special card in Hamster Kombat reimagines the iconic photo of a bloodied Trump defiantly raising his fist, replaced by smiling cartoon hamsters. The card’s subtitle, “Hamsters never give up,” is paired with the description, “You are a strong manager and nothing can stop you.”
This scene mimics the shot captured by Pulitzer Prize-winning photographer Evan Vucci at Trump’s Philadelphia rally, with hamsters standing in for Trump and his Secret Service protectors.
“Fight, fight, fight,” the phrase Trump reportedly uttered upon returning to his feet on Saturday, has become a rallying cry for his supporters. Trump capitalized on the moment by selling limited-edition sneakers emblazoned with the phrase and his image. As of July 18, all the sneakers had sold out.
Hamster Kombat Aims for Record-Breaking Token Launch
Playable within the Telegram messaging platform, Hamster Kombat allows players to control their own crypto exchange as a hamster CEO. Players spend money on various features, upgrades, and marketing initiatives to generate more passive income.
The game has previously featured cards inspired by events like the Euro 2024 soccer tournament and crypto conferences.
Hamster Kombat claims to have amassed more than 250 million players in just three months. This follows Telegram CEO and co-founder Pavel Durov’s announcement on July 5 that the game had reached 239 million players.
Like its predecessor, Notcoin, Hamster Kombat plans to launch a crypto token on The Open Network (TON). Players will be able to claim it via an airdrop process expected later this month.
Trump has increasingly embraced cryptocurrency, a shift from his earlier skepticism. His campaign now accepts crypto donations, and the Republican party has included crypto in its draft platform.
However, it remains unclear if the card is a tribute to the former president or if the Hamsters have gone too far.
