The Ctrl Transition
XDEFI’s transition to Ctrl (pronounced Control) includes a next-gen non-custodial wallet. Emile Dubié, XDEFI CEO, said self-custody is key in crypto and wallet providers need to make it accessible and secure. According to Dubié, Ctrl is designed to change the user experience of non-custodial wallets so users can explore DeFi and web3.

We have spent more than a year building a user experience on top of this technical advantage to make our products as intuitive as apps like Revolut. Ctrl is set to be the premier tool for onboarding millions of new users, regardless of their knowledge about crypto.”
Web3 Problems
One of Ctrl's main goals is to solve Web3's problems by bringing Web2 features to Web3 to simplify onboarding and user experience.
