A1: Hey there! I’m Luka, the Head of Sales at Lunar Strategy. I’m a bit of a comic book geek and a huge football fan. Oh, and I’m absolutely passionate about web3. My job involves leading our sales team, building partnerships, and coming up with innovative ways to drive growth in the web3 space. I’ve got about eight years of experience in sales and business development across various industries, which gives me a pretty well-rounded view of things.

Q2: How did you get involved in the web3 space?

A2: Curiosity, plain and simple. The decentralized nature of web3 and its potential to shake up traditional business models really caught my eye. My background in advertising and tech startups made the transition pretty smooth. Plus, seeing all the buzz online, I just thought, “I’ve got to check this out for myself!” It’s been one wild ride ever since.

Q3: What strategies have you found most effective in helping web3 projects grow?

A3: It’s all about community building, influencer partnerships, and smart use of social media. At Lunar Strategy, we focus on authentic engagement, leveraging Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) to build credibility, and running targeted social media campaigns. We’ve also found that creating educational content is crucial – it helps demystify web3 for newcomers and keeps them engaged.

Q4: What unique challenges do you face in web3 marketing compared to traditional industries?

A4: Web3 is a whole different ballgame. We’re dealing with a market that’s still finding its feet, navigating murky regulatory waters, and trying to build trust in decentralized systems. It requires a much deeper focus on community engagement and transparency than traditional industries. Plus, the tech is complex and evolving at breakneck speed, so we’re always learning and adapting our strategies.

Q5: How do you approach building relationships with potential clients in the web3 space?

A5: It’s all about authenticity, transparency, and delivering real value. I try to really understand each client’s unique needs and goals, then provide tailored solutions that align with what they’re trying to achieve. It’s about building trust through honest communication and showing that we truly get the web3 ecosystem.

Q6: How do you leverage KOL marketing to enhance the visibility and credibility of web3 projects?

A6: KOL marketing is a big part of what we do at Lunar Strategy. We team up with influential figures in the web3 space to amplify our clients’ visibility and credibility. These KOLs help make complex web3 concepts more accessible to a wider audience. We’re really careful about choosing KOLs whose values align with our clients’ brands – it’s all about authentic endorsements that resonate with the community.

Q7: What are the key factors contributing to successful KOL fundraising campaigns?

A7: It really boils down to three things: a compelling narrative, strategic partnerships, and targeted outreach. You need to craft a story that resonates with both investors and the community. We partner with KOLs who have a solid track record and genuine interest in the project. And we do a lot of personalized outreach to potential investors, leveraging the KOLs’ networks to boost our fundraising efforts.

Q8: How do you stay current with trends and changes in the web3 industry?

A8: I’m constantly plugged in – following social media accounts, newsletters, and news outlets. I also try to hit up as many conferences as I can. Speaking of which, the Lunar Strategy team and I will be at ETHCC in Brussels soon. We’re even organizing our own side event, the Crypto AI Meet Up. It’s all about staying on top of the latest developments and trends.

Q9: What advice would you give to aspiring sales professionals looking to enter the web3 space?

A9: Dive in headfirst! Immerse yourself in the community and never stop learning about the technology. Build genuine relationships – the web3 space values authenticity and innovation. Be adaptable and open to learning, because this industry moves fast. For sales pros specifically, it’s pretty straightforward – focus on understanding the unique needs of web3 clients and develop solutions that truly add value. Do that, and you’ll be golden!

Looking ahead, Lunar Strategy is actively engaged in industry events. “Our team will be attending ETHCC in Brussels,” Mrkic revealed. “We’re also organizing our own side event, the Crypto AI Meet Up, to stay at the forefront of industry developments and trends.”
