Fox Corporation, the organization that operates Fox News, Foxx Entertainment, and Fox Sports, has commenced a partnership. As per the company, it has officially onboarded TIME (a prominent media brand) as its earliest outside publishing collaborator on the Verify Protocol thereof on Polygon. The new partner of the platform will utilize the blockchain-based media forum.

This is a part of its content verification and licensing strategy, as per the company. Fox partnered with Polygon Labs for the launch of Verify Protocol. It started operating as an open-source project on the proof-of-stake network of Polygon back in January. In line with its design, it cryptographically signs content including media on blockchain. In this way, it enables autonomous verification by consumers regarding its origin from an authentic publisher.
In addition to this, Verify Protocol pursues making deals concerning content licensing with artificial intelligence platforms. The respective deals reportedly cover the use cases of the intellectual property of the media firms. Moreover, it also unveils likely exclusive commercial opportunities. To do so, it utilizes smart contracts and grants content access programmatically.
Mark Howard, the chief operating officer of TIME, also discussed this initiative. The executive expressed the enthusiasm of his platform regarding the collaboration. The PoS network of Polygon takes the credit for developing the present Verify beta. Nonetheless, Fox Corporation has revealed that it is operating with Gelato for its transition. Gelato is a rollup-as-a-service forum. This partnership will transform Verify into an autonomous zero-knowledge blockchain running on Ethereum. It will reportedly use the chain development kit of Polygon while exclusively dealing with content verification.
The platform claimed that this cutting-edge technology strengthens developers to build projects, transparently proving authenticity.
