Local Monero, a peer-to-peer crypto exchange for Monero is set to shut down after operating for 7 years citing internal and external reasons. The privacy coin was recently delisted by Kraken, OKX, and Binance. Trading will be unavailable on the platform from May 14, and the website will be discontinued in November. Local Monero expects its ecosystem to continue and believes Monero’s future to be bright with/without the platform. Meanwhile, Monero-focused DEXs are set for upcoming launches.
