Puppet Master Game Launches A Big New Update
Underground horror film series-Puppet Master fans will now be excited to know that they are going to receive a significant dose of new content in the form of a multiplayer game that you can play at no cost. The “Underworld” update brings an updated map, hero and weapons and takes the gameplay to the next level based on later chapters of the 35-year-old film series.
A visit to the Sutekh realm
The centerpiece of the Underworld update is the new map of the same name. Conceived from the core themes of Puppet Master 4, and 5 and the latest Retro Puppet Master reboot, it travels to the falling temple of the evil god Sutekh. But this is only the gateway leading to a darker dimension – a sinister realm called Sutekh’s shadowy dominion shown in films from this period.
The foreboding temples and disturbing extra dimensional terrain set the tone for another morbid battlefield of the famous game’s multiplayer modes. Besides the Underworld map, the most impactful environmental alterations are the revisions of already existing areas like the Fifth Floor, Attic, and Rick’s Lab to keep them as fresh as they can be.
New souls to torment
Furthermore, the expansion introduces the Watcher, a new formidable member to the Human protagonists, which just like in the Retro Puppet Master film has terrifying abilities. Through the projection of profane demonic energy, the Watcher can harm and ragdoll poor puppet monsters who can be caught in its deadly tracks.
Novel victims also need novel instruments for their torture. On that note, the update will showcase some 4 sadistic new weapons. These cover both brutal melee options including a femur club bone, and ranged skull projectiles that either smash or explode with focused force. However, the most brutal new tool might be the new grenade that can transmit anything nearby into dust with its deadly blast range.
Upgraded Puppet Masters
The devilish playthings will also get some new options for the little monsters as this update applies to them too. The improved night vision mode will enable the player to cut through the deck of darkness and surprise the prey. In addition, the famed Ninja perk has been increased, which now removes footstep sounds and augments jumping force, speed, and even the effect of gravity on a character.
The puppets have also been re-established as having the cel-shaded comic book outlook, the same as the new weapon skins. Regardless of the new graphical details, playing, as usual, unlocks all of the graphics without installing any premium additions.
Miscellaneous Butcher’s cuts
Completing the horrific collection of features are a variety of extra touches and the quality-of-life improvements, though. Enhanced hit detection and feedback will make the ferocious action feel more influential. Complete controller support, a permanent first-person view mode, and streamer music have just been implemented. The adjustments continue to be made throughout the game.
With its chilling new Egyptian motifs, formidable new human killer and an array of gameplay upgrades, the Underworld update for Puppet Master: It looks like the developers of the game may succeed in making a new life for the free horror game. Aspiring fans of campy supernatural killing should check if this one has been added back on steam before the release of the next chapter.
