Nightshade improves network performance by parallelizing operations into multiple shards, each representing a segment of a block. These shards are then aggregated to form a complete block, optimizing the process for chains with high transaction volumes. This sharding mechanism not only speeds up transaction processing but also provides a cost-effective solution for data availability.
