Crypto Prices Today April 19: Bitcoin At $62K, Ethereum Nears $2900, SOL Recovers
The top crypto prices today witnessed a mixed action as the Bitcoin (BTC) price surged past the $62,000 level. In contrast, the Ethereum (ETH) price struggles to sustain above the $3,000 mark. Meanwhile, other top altcoins, such as Cardano (ADA) and XRP plunged notably while Solana (SOL) rebounded.
Major Crypto Prices Today
The Bitcoin price was up by 1.25% reaching $62,413.84 at the time of writing on Friday, April 19. On the other hand, it’s trading volume surged 3.66% to $43.90 billion in the last 24 hours. Whilst, the crypto held a market capitalization of $1.22 trillion.
Turning to altcoins, the Ethereum price lost 0.42% to $3,003.80 at press time with a market valuation of $360.53 billion. Whilst, ETH saw its trading volume hike by 1.53%, reaching $18.39 billion. Meanwhile, the Binance Coin (BNB) price was down by 1.17%, reaching $543.42. On the contrary, its 24-hour trade soared 2.91% to $1.53 billion.
The Solana price inched closer to the $140 mark today. The Solana price gained by 3.80%, settling at $139.66. In addition, SOL witnessed a 9.77% jump in trade volume to $5.29 billion in the last 24 hours. Whilst, the XRP price failed to sustain the $0.49 mark. The XRP price recorded a dip of 1.62%, reaching $0.4883. On the other hand, XRP’s trading volume slumped 1.16% to $1.81 billion.
Meanwhile, the Cardano price was down by 1.10% to $0.4451 today. Whilst, ADA recorded a plunge of 3.11% in its 24-hour trading volume, settling at $488.66 million. As the top crypto prices added experienced volatility, the popular meme coins followed suit. The Dogecoin price plummeted 0.55% to $0.1477 while its rival, Shiba Inu price dropped by 0.81% and traded at $0.00002197.

Pepe Coin (PEPE)
The Pepe Coin (PEPE) crypto, a hyped Solana meme coin, rebounded slightly today. At press time, the Pepe Coin price was up by 1.07% to $0.000004979 with a market valuation of $2.09 billion. In contrast, the 24-hour trade volume for PEPE slumped by 1.15% to $623.20 million.
Toncoin Rallies 12%
Toncoin (TON), the native crypto of the Telegram blockchain platform, gained over 12% and ranked the top crypto gainer today. The Toncoin price was up by 12.30% to $6.80 at the time of reporting. Moreover, its trade volume spiked 46.79% and stood at $592.99 million. Furthermore, the TON crypto attained a high of $7.00 amid the rally today.
